“Terima kasih kepada seluruh masyarakat Desa Dwijaya yang telah mengundang saya kesini dalam kegiatan sedekah bumi (bersih desa),” ucap Ratna Machmud.
Dia memuji dan memberikan apresiasi tinggi atas terselenggaranya kegiatan ini.
Dan berharap Pergelaran Wayang Golek maupun Sedekah Bumi dapat terus dilestarikan agar tidak hilang digerus dengan perkembangan zaman.
“Sedekah bumi atau lebih dikenal bersih desa ini merupakan tradisi turun temurun atau warisan budaya nenek moyang khususnya di wilayah Kabupaten Musi Rawas.
Ini sebagai wujud keharmonisan antara manusia dengan alam.
Selain itu, wujud syukur atas karunia Tuhan Yang Maha Esa,” ujarnya.
Dalam acara itu, Bupati Ratna Machmud melakukan penyerahan Tokoh Wayang Golek kepada Dalang sebagai tanda di mulainya Pergelaran.
